What The Academy Consists Of...

The Academy will cater for football development and will also provide the opportunity to gain educational qualifications. Each week will incorporate intensive football training, together with matches, as well as learning about other aspects of the game.

The Academy is of a residential nature with on-site accommodation, meals, student welfare and all transportation issues included and will be highly supervised and run to a professional football club and college standard. The football facilities will include the use of a number of top-quality training pitches, an all-weather pitch, study centre, canteen and indoor facilities.

The Academy will provide a two year course, the aim being to discover further talent following a period of intensive coaching designed to improve every individual’s game. If unsuccessful as a player we aim to provide opportunities in other areas of professional football or sport i.e. coaching, refereeing, physiotherapy, sport development, fitness etc.

The course will involve tuition from former professional players, managers and coaches. The Academy will run its own teams in a National League and will play friendlies against Premier League and Football League opposition. All staff will have the relevant qualifications and child protection policies. There will be seminars, workshops visits to football games, guest speakers including some of the big names in football, evening entertainment, team-building exercises and many other activities that will be of benefit to your football development and to make the course enjoyable.
